THE WORD AROUND THE SHOP

Larissa just completed her “Lacy Hug Me Tight” Shrug from the book, “Knit 2 Together” by Tracey Ullman & Mel Clark. She used Blue Sky’s Alpaca and Silk in Plum.

Here Joey is showing off his booties from the book, “50 Baby Booties to Knit” He braided yarn to make the laces.

Zimmermania has taken over at Unwind. We are all knitting projects from the Elizabeth Zimmerman Books. Here Ginny is holding up her “Pie Shawl” from the “Knitter’s Almanac”. She knit this cozy shawl/blanket with Cascade’s “Eco-Wool”.

Ellen knit the “Baby Surprise Jacket” out of ArtYarns “Supermerino”.  This Elizabeth Zimmerman pattern is sold separately or it is in several of her books. The jacket goes with the “Umbilical Cord” hat from the book, “Stitch N Bitch”.

Back in February, Sara knit this “February Baby Jacket” from Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Knitter’s Almanac. It is knit with RYC’s “Cashsoft DK” in Tape.

From the book, “The Opinionated Knitter”, Ginny knit this Elizabeth Zimmerman’s “Tomten” Jacket.  The yarn is Noro’s  “Kureyon”.

It is always a good day when Kate Alicia and Joey come into the shop. Kate is helping tie his newly made laces on his baby booties.
